Iran is mocking the USS Abraham Lincoln’s planned stop in Thailand after what Tehran portrays as a costly and unsuccessful US military campaign. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei shared a meme comparing the aircraft carrier’s long deployment to exhaustion, calling its next mission “Project Vacation.” The carrier is reportedly preparing for a scheduled rest and recovery stop after more than 260 days at sea. The move follows its prolonged deployment supporting U.S. operations in the Middle East.
