Exodus of Kashmiri Pandits: Owaisi wants independent commission set up

AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi demanded an independent probe into the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s in Lok Sabha. In a statement made on March 14, Owaisi said that it's impossible that only 89 Kashmiri pandits have been killed as per official records. He also said that no one speaks about the death of 1,500 non-Pandit Hindus who were killed during the exodus. He added that only one person had been convicted in the past 30 years for the exodus.
