FIFA World Cup 2018: Spain prepare for Portugal clash in Krasnodar
Updated on Jun 11, 2018 08:29 PM IST
Spain continued their FIFA World Cup 2018 preparations in Krasnodar ahead of their opening game of the tournament against neighbours Portugal on Friday. Since taking over as Spain's head coach, Julen Lopetegui has invigorated a side that appeared in decline after failing to defend either their World Cup title in 2014 or their European crown in 2016. Having steering Spain through an undefeated qualifying campaign, with nine wins and just one draw, Lopetegui's men face a baptism of fire in their World Cup Group B opener. Lopetegui put the squad through their paces in Krasnodar on Monday, well aware of the threat posed by the reigning European champions. (Video Courtesy: SNTV)
