France, Iraq Sign Agreements to Boost Defence, Energy and Infrastructure Cooperation

France and Iraq signed a series of agreements in Paris to strengthen cooperation in defence, energy, transport and infrastructure. French President Emmanuel Macron and Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi also discussed regional developments, energy market pressures and efforts to prevent an Islamic State resurgence.
