Fuel on fire, 5th price hike in 6 days | Petrol over `100/L in Mumbai

5th hike in 6 days - Fuel prices burning a hole in the common man's pocket. Petrol, Diesel prices remained unchanged between November 4, 2021 & March 21, 2022 (over 130 days). In less than a week since revision of prices resumed, petrol prices in Delhi have gone up by Rs. 3.70/l, diesel by Rs. 3.75/l. As per Moody's, state-owned oil refining & marketing firms lost around Rs. 19,000CR in March due to petrol, diesel price freeze.
