The rehabilitation department of the Israeli Defence Ministry on August 14 released data on the physical and mental health of IDF personnel fighting against Hamas in Gaza since October 7, 2023. The department said it has received some 10,056 soldiers, including some 3,500 suffering from PTSD or other mental disorders caused by trauma and another 37% from physical trauma to their limbs.
