World Cup | ‘Not that bad’, says England captain after Pakistan loss
England lost to Pakistan by 14 runs on Monday despite Joe Root and Jos Buttler’s centuries. Pakistan managed a huge target of 349. England captain Eoin Morgan, however, defended the team and said the performance was not “that bad”. Morgan said, “I didn’t think it was that bad”. England steadily lost the wickets of their top-order batsmen Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Eoin Morgan and Ben Stokes to leave the side on 118 for four and give Root and Buttler a mountain to climb.
