‘If India can, why can’t Pak?’: Imran locks horns with Sharif over fuel prices

Imran Khan launched a scathing attack on Pakistan government, after its finance minister blamed previous PTI government for hike in fuel prices. Shehbaz Sharif government increased fuel prices of the third time by PKR 24. It is the first time in Pakistan's history that fuel prices have been hiked to such a level. Petrol in Pakistan now costs PKR 233.89 per litre, diesel is at PKR 263.31 per litre following a rise of 59.16 per litre, kerosene oil at PKR 211.47 per litre after a surge of 29.49 and light diesel oil at PKR 207.47 per litre after an increase of 29.16. Imran Khan said that if it was not for the current government then his deal with Russia would have resulted in lower oil prices. He also raked up India to attack the Sharif government.
