11 killed after boat capsizes during Ganpati visarjan, probe ordered

At least 11 people have been killed after a boat capsized in lower lake in Bhopal during Ganesh idol immersion early on Friday morning. Police said that eleven bodies have been recovered while six people have been rescued so far. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident and said that the guilty will be punished. The MP government has also announced a compensation of 4 lakh rupees for the kin of the deceased.
