Devotees perform Ganga Aarti on Makar Sakranti

Devotees in large numbers participated in the Ganga aarti on the occasion of Makar Sakranti in Haridwar, today. Makar Sankranti is one of the most auspicious festivals celebrated on January 14 every year across India. Devotees converged in Haridwar and Varanasi at the confluence of Ganga and Yamuna, walking several miles on foot to take the holy dip.
