Has India implemented Kargil war lessons? Gen VP Malik (retd) on China clash

Has India effectively implemented lessons learned during the 1999 Kargil war? Former Chief of Army Staff, General VP Malik (retired) spoke to Hindustan editor-in-chief Shashi Shekhar about what has been done and what still remains, 20 years after the conflict. General Malik said that Kargil lessons were implemented to a large extent but some, like building of border infrastructure, took a lot of time to reach fruition.
