Kangana Ranaut says office invaded; Maharashtra govt slams Y+ level security

Kangana Ranaut's face-off with the Maharashtra government intensified after the Central government announced Y-plus category security for the actor. The development took place a day after she claimed that associates of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut had threatened to break her jaw and kill her. Reacting to the news, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh expressed surprise, stating that all political parties must condemn those who insult Maharashtra. Meanwhile, Randeep Surjewala of the Indian National Congress party, a constituent of the Maharashtra ruling alliance, said that the Bharatiya Janata Party was furthering its agenda using film actresses. Amid the political attacks, Kangana posted a video claiming that officials of the Mumbai civic body had 'taken over' her office and wanted to demolish it on September 8. The root cause of the entire controversy is Kangana's criticism of Mumbai police in the wake of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Watch the full video for more.
