Karnataka: Modi govt & BJP pressurising Cong & JD(S) MLAs, says Kumaraswamy

Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy has accused the BJP and Modi government at the Centre of misusing institutions of the central government. He also said that they are threatening the MLAs of the Congress and JD(S). Kumaraswamy was talking to reporters after the swearing-in of BJP's BS Yeddyurappa as Karnataka's chief minister on May 17. The JD(S) chief also said the BJP and Union cabinet ministers are trying to purchase the combine's MLAs. He added that his party plans to safeguard its MLAs. He also accused state governor Vajubhai Vala of misusing his powers in inviting Yeddyurappa to form the government.
