Karnataka polls: Modi says ‘women first’, BJP releases manifesto
With just a week to go for assembly elections in Karnataka, the Bharatiya Janata Party released its manifesto on May 4 while PM Modi addressed the party’s women cadres via his app. Modi said his government and party’s mantra was ‘women first’. The party manifesto has a range of schemes for farmers among other promises. The state votes on May 12 and results will be announced on May 15. In another development, the SC said no to an accused in a corruption case from campaigning for a BJP candidate.
