‘No harm to minorities, I guarantee’: Nitish amid anti-CAA protests in Bihar

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar assured the minorities would be safe under the rule of Janata Dal (United)-led government. “I take the guarantee that minority communities cannot be ignored and no wrong can happen to them as long as we are at the helm,” he said. This comes after protests were reported from across Bihar on Thursday. CPI (M) workers and AISF members halted trains at different places in Bihar. Former JNU student leader and CPI (M) leader Kanhaiya Kumar said the Citizenship Act will severely affect the poor and uneducated.
