‘No meet planned between PM Modi, Imran Khan’: Govt ahead of SCO summit
The spokesperson of the External Affairs Ministry clarified that no meeting has been planned between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart, Imran Khan, on the sidelines of the SCO summit. Both the leaders will be in Kyrgyzstan’s Bishkek to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation meet on June 13 and 14. Foreign ministry’s Raveesh Kumar said that no meeting has been planned to the best of his knowledge. Ties between India and Pakistan have reached a new low since the February 2019 Pulwama terror attack in which 40 Indian soldiers were martyred.
