PM Modi reveals how Bear Grylls understood Hindi on ‘Man vs Wild’ show

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's audio address to the nation, Mann Ki Baat, was broadcast on Sunday. PM Modi spoke about his experience on the 'Man vs Wild' show. He appeared in one of the episodes, filmed in Jim Corbett National Park. The Prime Minister explained how the host of the show, Bear Grylls, was able to understand him, even though he spoke in Hindi. PM Modi said that Grylls used a cordless device which instantaneously translated his Hindi statements into English. Thus, the two were able to converse without any hindrance.
