Punjab CM’s solution on stubble burning as Delhi enters ‘poor’ air quality category
Stubble burning continues in parts of Haryana and Punjab while Delhi's air quality entered the 'poor' category. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Tuesday said the Centre government should provide Rs 100 per more quintal to the farmers to prevent stubble burning. Farmers from Haryana and Punjab said there is no alternative to stubble burning. Meanwhile, Delhi air quality was stated under 'poor' category. A rise in smog was witnessed following a dip in mercury, Experts have said the situation is likelyt to worsen from October 20.
