‘UN planting trees for Gandhi’s birth anniversary is historic: Javadekar

The United Nations celebrated Gandhi's birth anniversary by planting 150 trees. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar called the move historic. Earlier, PM Modi inaugurated a 'Gandhi Solar Park' during the Gandhi@150 commemorative event. The event was organised at UN Headquarters to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
