UP CM Yogi Adityanath hails ‘historic’ state budget; here’s what govt announced

The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday tabled its fourth budget in the State Assembly. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presented budget. The UP government earmarked funds to set up three new state universities for higher education, one Ayush university, a law university and a police forensic university in Rs 5,12,860.72 crore budget for financial year 2020-21.
