Security forces conducted a combing operation in the Hegganahalli area of Karnataka capital Bengaluru today, a day after protests rocked many parts of the state over the Cauvery river water controversy. On Monday, protesters set many vehicles ablaze and attacked government offices over the Supreme Court directing the Karnataka government to release 12000 cusecs of water to Tamil Nadu every day until September 20.
