A rare stone sculpture of the Hindu Goddess of Wealth, Lakshmi, believed to be over 1500 years old, was discovered in the Waghama village in Kashmir. Farmers stumbled upon the idol when they were digging a field in the village. The local police recovered the idol from the farmers and handed it over to a museum. Experts have identified the sculpture as that of Goddess Laxmi, dating back to 5th Century AD.
