A look at communal harmony in Punjab
Communal harmony is the hallmark of the Indian society and this is visible across the length and breadth of the country. In Punjab too, which is predominantly a Sikh majority state, people of all faiths live together in peace and harmony. Not surprising as they share the same roots, same language, same culture and food. Here Hindus pay obeisance at Gurudwaras and Sikhs take part in daily prayers at the temples, presenting a perfect example of communal amity.
