Afghan Prez Hamid Karzai arrives in New Delhi

President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, arrived in New Delhi on Monday on a two-day visit during which he will have a series of meetings with his Indian counterpart, Pratibha Devisingh Patil and other senior officials. Karzai,who is visiting India on his way to Bhutan, to participate in the 16th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit, arrived by a special Ariana Afghan Airlines aircraft. Karzai is in India to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations.
