Air travel becomes costlier

Now, traveling by air will be a heavier burden on your pockets. Major air carriers have hiked their fares by raising fuel surcharge making air travel costlier. This hike has resulted from an 18.5 per cent increase in the prices of Aviation Turbine Fuel by the public sector oil firms. The hike is effective from Tuesday.
