Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar taunted acute scarcity of water in his state with crass humour during a public function at Pune on Sunday. Maharashtra, is reeling under the worst drought in more than four decades, after receiving least rainfall during the monsoon season June to September 2012. Referring to the ongoing hunger strike of a farmer in the state, Pawar trivialized the gravity of the situation.
