Akhilesh Yadav the new SP chief in UP

Akhilesh Yadav took over as the regional chief of Samajwadi Party (SP) in most populous Uttar Pradesh state on Friday. Akhilesh, son of SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav was appointed on Wednesday in an attempt to revamp the state unit after it got a drubbing in the recent general elections.
