Andhra Maoists shot down police informer

A constable of Special Intelligence Branch was shot dead by suspected Maoists in Paderu, a Revenue Divisional headquarters in Vishakhapatnam on Thursday evening. According to reports, the ultras had fired at least two rounds at 45-year old P. Appanna while he was on duty near Paderu Junior College around 5.30 pm. He died on the spot.
