AR Rahman highlights role of Indian music

Oscar winning music director A R Rahman addressed a news conference in Aligarh after being conferred with doctorate by the city's Muslim University on Sunday said that it was high time that Indian music got recognized. Rahman, who created history by becoming the first Indian to win two Oscars for his composition in Slumdog Millionaire, was honoured during the 59th Convocation of the Aligarh Muslim University.
