Asia, growth engine of the world, will stabilize global recovery: PM

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today asserted that the economic growth in Asia in the last decade had positioned the region as the growth engine of the world, and added that Asia was thus expected to play a very crucial role in driving and stabilizing global recovery process.Addressing participants at the conference on economic growth in Asia and changes of corporate environment at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, Singh further pressed on the need to draw investment into the country.
