Bal Thackeray puts a ban on Aus cricket team's visit to Maharashtra

Chief of India's right-wing Shiv Sena, Balasaheb Thackeray, on Wednesday called for a ban on Australian cricket team playing in Maharashtra through an editorial in the Sena's mouthpiece 'Saamna'. Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena leader and editor of 'Saamna', met reporters in Mumbai and said that the party would follow its chief's remarks and would oppose the Australian team's visit in its trademark disruptive style.
