In the Chamber of the Golden Throne, 28-year-old Oxford educated Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck on Thursday assumed the Raven Crown of Bhutan, to guide the world's newest democracy as it emerges into the modern world. Indian President Pratibha Devisingh Patil is the guest of honor at the coronation ceremony. Over thirty diplomats from across the globe including India's Gandhi family headed by Sonia Gandhi were also present for the ceremony.
