Bihar CM visits the flood-affected areas of the region

Chief Minster of Bihar Nitish Kumar made an aerial survey of Sitamarhi district on Sunday where the swollen Bagmati river breached its embankment, displacing at least a hundred thousand families. Inundating vast tracts across a number of villages, the floodwater has also submerged one of the national highways passing through the state. Nitish Kumar however said efforts were on to control the damage.
