BJP lashes out at Manmohan Singh

India's main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday lashed out at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over his reference to the controversial Babri mosque demolition. BJP chief Rajnath Singh said that Manmohan Singh was trying to incite religious passions by harping on the contentious issue. Manmohan Singh had on Tuesday (March 24) blamed Lal Krishna Advani, BJP's prime ministerial candidate, for playing a prominent role in the demolition of the historic mosque.
