BJP sees political turmoil in the making

India's main opposition BJP said the current political crisis in the country could lead to early general elections. Addressing a news conference in Chennai on Wednesday, senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi said the current crisis would lead to instability. Meanwhile, the country's central ruling Congress-led United Progressive Alliance is busy gathering support from all possible quarters after the Communists withdrew support.
