BJP slams govt over revised lokpal bill

Hitting out at the government over the revised Lokpal bill, the main opposition BJP on Thursday alleged that the government was not serious to give autonomy to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The BJP sought an explanation from the government why it has not accepted the suggestion that the officials, investigate the cases referred by the Lokpal, could only be transferred after consent with the Lokpal.
