Trade circles say that the indigenous fabricators, still mostly in the unorganised sector, have acquired the expertise to erect frames that can withstand a landmine blast. The cost of overhauling a bullet-proof vehicle may vary with the requirements of the client, ranging from Rs.4 million to 10 millions.
