Campaigning ends for phase VII of UP polls

Campaigning for the crucial seventh and last phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls to 59 constituencies came to an end on Sunday. Addressing a party rally at Ayodhya, Lal Krishna Advani, leader of the opposition in Parliament, reiterated his party pledge to construct Ram Mandir at a controversial site in the holy town. Meanwhile UP CM Mulayam Singh Yadav, addressing a rally in Gorakhpur, promised to dole out more for the farmers of the state.
