Can't afford to spare Manmohan Singh as PM: Congress

The Congress on Thursday refused to accept former President APJ Abdul Kalam and former Lok Sabha speaker Somnath Chatterjee as their candidate for the President's post. Addressing mediapersons, Congress general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi said the government can't afford to spare Manmohan Singh as PM.
