Cauvery river dispute: Deadlock between TN & K'taka continues

The deadlock between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu over the Cauvery river water persisted as the meeting between the chief ministers of both states on Thursday failed to end the impasse. Sharing of river waters has been a bone of contention between the two states for over three decades.
