CBI’s power, responsibilities should be discussed: BJP on Gauhati HC’s verdict

A day after the Gauhati high court ruled that the CBI is legally not a police force and stripped it of its powers to investigate crimes, arrest suspects and file charge-sheets, the BJP on Friday said that the CBI's role, responsibilities and power needs to be discussed afresh.
