Bollywood film Chak De India has been a boon for manufacturers of hockey paraphernalia in Jalandhar. A revolution of sorts has swept through Jalandhar town that produces nearly 95% of the country's hockey gear. After the Shahrukh Khan starrer Chak De India became a box office hit, the town has seen a major increase in the sale of hockey gear.
