Commonwealth Games heads happy with preparations

The executive board of the Commonwealth Games Federation has expressed satisfaction with the games infrastructure coming up in the city, said Suresh Kalmadi, the head of the organising committee of the 2010 Games. Preparations are in full swing in New Delhi for hosting the 2010 Commonwealth Games at an estimated cost of 70 billion rupees, he added. In the meantime, Kalmadi is seeking the hand of youth Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for Commonwealth preparations.
