CPI-M expels Kerala CM from politburo

Communist Party of India (Marxist) removed its senior leader and Kerala chief minister Velikkakathu Sankaran Achuthanandan, from the politburo on Sunday on the grounds of violating party's principle and discipline. This highlights the tiff in the state unit of the CPI-M in Kerala.
