Credit crunch forces Dunlop to stop production

The global meltdown is hitting hard various industries in India. Recession has forced Indian tyre manufacturer Dunlop to stop production at its Sahaganj plant in Hooghly district of West Bengal. Faced with working capital shortage and declining demand the company said that this was the best option to avoid lock-out.
