Devotees take ‘kanwar’ in Shravani Fair

The Shravani Mela has begun with the devotees of Lord Shiva taking 'kanwar' along with them and offering holy water to the God. Also known as kanwarias, the devotees carry water from Sultanganj in Bhagalpur district of Bihar and travel on foot to Deoghar in Jharkhand.
