Fadnavis wins trust vote: Shiv Sena leaders back Uddhav's decision to sit in opposition

The BJP-led miniority government has won the trust vote in Maharashtra Assembly. The development is being seen as a major win for the Devendra Fadnavis government at a time when its old ally Shiv Sena has decided to sit in the Opposition. On the other hand, BJP leader Haribhau Bagde will be elected unopposed to the post of Maharashtra assembly Speaker as the Shiv Sena and the Congress conceded with BJP's request and withdrew their respective candidates.
