Five militants gunned down in Manipur

Five militants were killed during a gun battle with the personnel of paramilitary outfit Assam Rifles in Chandel district of Manipur. The encounter between the militants suspected to be of the rebel armed outfit,Pakan Army (United Liberation Army) and the paramilitary troopers began at around 2 am on Saturday near Deru Khunou village in the district.
