Floods continue to torment Gujarat

Relief workers rescued patients from hospitals in Surat which are surrounded by flood water while flood situation remained grim as water level continued to rise in several parts of Gujarat bringing normal life to standstill. Incessant rains wreaked havoc in the state, inundating low-lying areas and rendered thousands homeless.
