Floods continue to wreak havoc in Assam

The flood situation remained critical in three districts of Assam, affecting the lives of 33,000 villagers. Hundreds of villages are reported to have been inundated due to the heavy monsoon and swelling up the River Brahmaputra and its tributaries.
